Cookie Notice

This Cookie Notice explains what cookies and local-storage keys Maestrio sets on maestrio.ai and app.maestrio.ai, what each is for, and the choices available to you. This notice is part of and should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes how we process personal data more broadly.

This notice applies to the Maestrio landing page and web application. The JavaScript widget that customers embed in their own products is governed by those customers' own cookie and privacy notices.

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They allow the site to remember information between page loads and visits such as whether you are logged in, or which language you prefer. Cookies can also be used to understand how people use a product so it can be improved.

Cookies are either session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (stored for a fixed period). Maestrio does not use advertising or social-media pixels. Analytics scripts are loaded only after you accept non-essential cookies, and their cookies are first-party cookies set by the Maestrio domains.

We use a small, focused set of essential session storage plus optional analytics technologies. There is no advertising or social-media pixel.

Essential cookies are necessary for the Service to function. Without the session cookie, you cannot sign in to Maestrio — every page would redirect you to the login screen.

The session cookie is set regardless of your consent choice and cannot be opted out of through our consent banner. You can delete it through your browser settings at any time (see Section 8), but doing so will sign you out of the application.

The __ph_opt_in_out_* cookie and the maestrio_cookie_consent preference storage record your choice so we can honor it on future visits and avoid showing you the consent banner again. Neither is required for the core Service to function.

You can delete these entries via your browser's storage controls at any time (see Section 8), but doing so means we will show you the consent banner again on your next visit.

We use Google Analytics for aggregate landing page measurement and PostHog for product analytics. When analytics are accepted, they record:

• Page views and navigation paths on the landing page and application.
• Feature usage events (for example, which parts of the dashboard you interact with).
• A pseudonymous identifier linked to your Maestrio account.

These analytics tools do not receive:

• Your password or any authentication credentials.
• The content of your code repositories.
• Feedback content or data submitted by end users via the widget.
• Any payment card information.

Analytics technologies are only loaded after you explicitly consent via the banner shown on your first visit. Declining analytics has no effect on the Service's functionality.

Maestrio does not load advertising, social-media, or marketing pixels. Google Analytics and PostHog are optional analytics services loaded only after consent; their scripts send analytics events to their respective providers.

Consent banner

On your first visit to maestrio.ai or app.maestrio.ai, a banner gives you the choice to accept or decline non-essential (analytics) cookies. Your choice is stored until you change it.

Changing or withdrawing your consent

You can change or withdraw your analytics consent at any time by selecting Cookie settings in the footer of the landing page or by using the cookie preferences control in the dashboard. Withdrawing consent will stop further analytics collection but will not affect data already collected before withdrawal.

Browser settings

All modern browsers allow you to view, block, and delete cookies through their settings menus. Consult your browser's help documentation for instructions. Note that deleting the session cookie will sign you out of Maestrio, and deleting the consent-preference cookie or local-storage key will cause the consent banner to reappear on your next visit.

Declining analytics

Rejecting analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use any feature of Maestrio. The application functions identically whether or not PostHog is active.

Maestrio is operated from Brazil and applies opt-in consent before loading optional analytics. Our primary privacy framework is Brazil's LGPD:

• Brazil — Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018).

The following commitments apply:

• No non-essential cookies are set before you have been shown the consent banner and made an active choice. Closing the banner without choosing does not count as consent.
• The banner presents clearly labelled Accept and Decline options of equal prominence. There is no pre-ticked box.
• You may withdraw your consent at any time through Cookie settings. Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent.
• Your consent choice is stored until you change it or the notice materially changes.
• We use analytics cookies solely for the purpose of product improvement (usage analytics and feature flag evaluation), not for advertising or profiling.

We will update this Cookie Notice whenever we add, remove, or materially change the cookies we use.

For significant changes (such as adding new analytics trackers or changing the purpose of existing cookies), we will notify you by email to your registered address at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and will show the consent banner again so you can update your preferences.

For minor changes (corrections, clarifications), we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page without advance notice.
